Call for Art.... life from a teen's perspective
The Davis YMCA is hosting its first Speak Your Peace art show, open to local teens grade 9-12, or equivalent. The theme, life from a teen’s perspective, deals with issues and angst experienced during formative teenage years. Save and print the prospectus below for more information about how to enter.
There is no entry fee; all family friendly art will be accepted; drop off Monday, April 22, 10-3, and Tuesday, April 23, 12:30-5. Opening reception, Sunday, May 5, 1-3. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Self-Portraits Opening Reception
Wednesday, March 22, the Y hosted an opening for Self-Portraits: YMCA pre-school art show.
Sixty-nine self-portraits, created in the 4year and 5year old classrooms, are hung at the GATY through the end of March. The Opening Reception invited the children and their families to enjoy refreshments and music while perusing the program and the framed art.
