But I Know What I Like Awards

But I Know What I Like is a juried art show, open to amateur and professional artists in the tri-county area.   This year 80 artists submitted  176 pieces.  Three non-artists judged the work (as in "I don't know much about art, but I know what I like.")

But I Know What I Like opening reception

The Opening Reception for But I Know What I Like will be on Sunday, October 5 from 1-3 pm.  Everyone is invited to attend, meet the artists, enjoy an afternoon of music, tea in the garden, artists at work, and light refreshments.  Eighty artists submitted 176 pieces of art  which are displayed throughout the Davis Family YMCA on McClurg Rd in Boardman.

Call for Art

The Davis Y will once again host But I Know What I Like, a juried art show judged by non-professionals.  The opening reception will be held on Sunday, October 5th in conjunction with the annual Afternoon of the Arts.

Any adult, amateur or professional, in a 40 mile radius is welcome to enter.  See the prospectus below for more information.

centered: slightly off-center

The fourth annual centered:  slightly off-center senior citizen art show Artists' Reception was held at the Y on Sunday, June 22nd.  Eighty-seven paintings by residents of 12 assisted living and specialty care centers were on display.   More than $600 in prizes was awarded.

This year's show was dedicated to the Activities Staff and families who make the Painting Clubs possible.
